Amy Lynn (Reichenbach) Buehrer

Amy Lynn Buehrer, 57, of Sandusky passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon, June 30th, with her children and other family members by her side at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky.

Born on June 1st, 1964 in Sandusky, OH the daughter of Dean and Linda Reichenbach. She was a graduate of Sandusky High School in the class of 1983. She went on to earn her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan. After graduating Amy followed her dreams of becoming a mother and raised five beautiful children.

Amy spent her life doing everything she could for her children and was the universal caregiver to all of their friends. Amy had a strong love for animals and could never refuse a pet in need of rescuing. Her favorite activity was spending time at the beach listening to the waves and the seagulls while visiting with her family.

She is survived by her daughters Alise (Mark) Edgecomb, Rebecca Buehrer, Janice Buehrer, and Seton Buehrer; her son, James Buehrer; her mother Linda Reichenbach; her brother and sister Dan (Courtney) Reichenbach and Lisa (Roger) Adkins; and her two grandchildren Isla and Callan Edgecomb.

She is preceded in death by her father, Dean Reichenbach.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 9, 2021 from 4 pm until 7 pm at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. A Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass will be on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 10 am at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky with Deacon Jeff Claar officiating.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her name to one’s favorite charity.
