Alice F. (Neason) Martin, 82, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully late Wednesday morning, October 20, 2021, with family at her side in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
Born on July 5, 1939, in Fremont, OH the daughter of Harry Franklin and Mabel Faye (Keefer) Neason. She was a graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Alice worked for many years for the Sandusky County Auditor Office, Sandusky Surgeons, and after retiring she worked part time for the Perkins Schools.
She was an active member of St. Stephen United Church of Christ where she was involved in the church choir, the S.O.S. Committee, the Memorial Committee, the Book Club and a past member of the Personnel Committee.
Alice is survived by two sons, Stephen (Colleen) Martin of Jacksonville, FL and Brian (Amanda) Martin of Sandusky; four grandchildren, Amanda, Kevin, Kristina and Tanner; and four great-grandchildren; her sister, Norma Willey of Fremont; and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 57 years, John I. Martin on March 23, 2018; a granddaughter, Noel; and two sisters, Carol Haubert and Ilame Smith.
It was her wish to be cremated. The family will receive friends on Friday morning, October 29, 2021, from 9 am until time of the memorial service at 11 am at St. Stephen United Church of Christ, 905 E. Perkins Avenue, Sandusky. Rev. Jerald A. Fenske officiating. Inurnment will take place in the church columbarium.
