Steven Wayne Yontz

Steven "Stevie" W.  Yontz, 56, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly late Monday morning, March 19,2018, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
   Born on October 22, 1961, in Sandusky,OH the son of Wayne Albert and Donna Jean (Wiedeman) Yontz.  Steve was a 1980 graduate of Mason High School, in Mason,MI.  Over the years, he had worked at Mike's Drive Thru,  at ARAMARK for 15 years and later at EPIC Technologies.  He was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the University of Michigan Wolverines, especially the football and the basketball teams.  Steve will be remembered by his family for his love of golfing, boating and fishing.  He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
   Steve is survived by his parents, Wayne and Donna Yontz; his four sisters, Sherry (Scott), Brenda (Jack), Linda (Gregg) and Susan (Brett); and several nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carl and Severia (Palmison) Wiedeman; and his paternal grandparents, Albert and Helen (Warren) Yontz.
  At the request of the family, visitation and the funeral services will be private.  Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron,OH.
   The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Zion Lutheran Church, 503 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to the American Heart Association, Ohio Valley Affiliate, P.O. Box 163549, Columbus, OH 43216-3549.
