Stephen Michael Goss

 Stephen Michael Goss, 68, of Berlin Heights, OH passed away unexpectedly late Saturday morning, March 10,2018, at the Fisher-Titus Medical Center, in Norwalk, OH.
   Born on March 28,1949, in Billings, Montana, the son of Theodore "Ted" and Norma (Adams) Goss.  He was a 1967 graduate of Custer County High School, in Miles, MT and went on to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Valparaiso University, in Indiana, Class of 1971.  Steve enjoyed an esteemed career as an Engineer, but most notably was employed in management at First Energy, from April 1977 until April 2006.
   He enjoyed living and restoring his 100 year old farm house with his wife, Roxanne, whom he married on October 2, 1999, and caring daily for their 20 plus alpacas on their alpaca farm,"Lands End Alpacas."  His hobbies included working on the farm with his two grandchildren, spending time with his three daughters and traveling the world with Roxanne to places including; the Holy Land, Egypt, China, Africa and Germany.  Steve spent his free time researching history, most notably the civil war era.  He loved reading books and collecting historical items.
   He was very involved with his church, The Chapel, in Sandusky.  He looked forward to attending his weekly Bible Study class and Sunday services.  Steve was a very generous man and was involved with many charities, including Meals on Wheels and Harvest for Hunger.
   Steve leaves behind his wife of 18 years, Roxanne Goss; three daughters, Stephanie Meadows of Sandusky, Melissa Goss of Norwalk and Kim Goss of Mentor; two grandchildren, Jeremiah and Tyler Meadows of Sandusky; his sister, Jan Goss; and a brother, Dave Goss. 
   He was preceded in death by his parents.
   Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 15,2018, from 11 am until time of the funeral services at 1 pm at The Chapel, 4444 Galloway Road, Sandusky. Rev. Jay Halley officiating.  Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
