My prayer and sympathy to all of you- Skyler's family- at his death. May Skyler know God's eternal embrace of love. I had the joy of having Skyler as one of my students at SMCC. I remember his love of life, family, and friends. His smile was infectious!! Know that I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayer, especially in the coming days.

It was a pleasure to work with Skyler and share an office with him at St Anne. We got to know each other and I consider him family. I use to tell him I felt like his older sister. So many coworkers, managers and patient's admired him for taking the extra step to help those in need. He had so much to offer and was a great listener. The photos and stories Skyler shared made you feel like you were there in person. Even after he left St Anne we kept in touch which was wonderful. He will always be a part of my life and am so thankful our paths crossed.

I met Skyler when I volunteered for 11 yrs. @ Mercy St. Anne's E. R. in Toledo. His office was next to the E.R. I am a retired Mercy Nurse from Sandusky & also a St. Mary's graduate , so we shared wonderful conversations as we both followed the Cleveland Indiians. I always brought
him programs from my Spring training visits in Arizona & he always taked about opening day
games with friends & throughout the season. He was so admired @ St. Anne's & had many
friends there.
One Sun. AM I heard his name mentioned on WLEC & prayers were offerd for him.
I met his father Steve & wife Gloria at German classes in 2013 in Sandusky.
I know Skyler suffered greatly with his illness & surgery & recovery.
I miss him greatly and always hoped to visit with him again.
And now he enjoys his greatest reward - being with God and still with us in Spirit.
Go Tribe !!!
