Patricia Lucille (Gross) Binting

Patricia L. "Pat" (Gross) Binting, 88, of Huron, formerly of Bellevue, peacefully passed away early Friday evening, July 5, 2019, at Admiral's Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation, in Huron, OH.

   Born on February 9, 1931, in Cygnet, OH, she was the daughter of Cloyce and Doris (Hill) Gross.   She was a 1949 graduate of Sandusky High School and cherished her lifelong friendships with her classmates.  She also enjoyed the class get-togethers throughout the years. Day trips with her friends were also a favorite, but she especially loved spending time with all her family.  Patricia had worked for the Hasselbach & Paul Insurance Agency, in Bellevue, for over 30 years, retiring in 2002.

     She is survived by two sons, James (Diane) Binting of Huron and William Binting of Oregon, OH; three grandchildren, Christopher (Rachel) Binting, Cheri (Chris) Ringle, and Lacy Binting; five great-grandchildren, Nolan, Nathan, Isabelle, Ryan and Brynn; her brother William Gross of Bellevue; and her brother-in-law, George Brutcher of Avon, as well as many nieces and nephews.

   Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard N. Binting (1994); her beloved sister, Peg Brutcher who preceded her by five days; and her sister-in-law, Barb Gross.  

   Visitation will be held  on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, from 4-7 pm at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning, July 10, 2019 at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery, Castalia, OH.

   The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
