Michael I. Keller, 39, of Sandusky, also resided in Cincinnati, for the past 20 years, passed away late Tuesday afternoon, May 15, 2018, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky, from natural causes.
Born on May 18, 1978, in Cleveland, the son of Mike and Melissa Feltner and Glen and Peggy Schirg. He was a 1996 graduate of St. Mary's Central Catholic High School.
Michael enjoyed being a waiter and bartender and worked for T.G.I. Fridays for 15 years. He also enjoyed caring for people and spending time with family and friends. Michael was very charismatic and witty. He loved the sound of laughter which always seemed to surround him. The sound of his own laughter will remain forever with those that knew and loved him.
Michael is survived by his parents, Mike and Melissa Feltner and Glen and Peggy Schirg; his brothers, Brian, Matt and Marcus Feltner and Tyler, Dillon and Glen, Jr. Schirg; his aunts, Cassandra Harper, Cindy Sharpe and Stacie Keller; uncle, Ty Keller; also Erica Sharpe, Heather Warner, Lisa Billetter Astalos, his close cousins and care givers through this brief illness; he also has first cousins, Jordan Keller, Whitney Everett, Jerry Everett, Dontaijah Harper, Airika Harper, Tyler Keller and Amelia Keller; he also had several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Carmelita "Meme" Trautman; grandmothers, Patricia Keller, Joan Feltner and Kathleen Schirg; grandfathers, Maynard Feltner and Clifford Schirg; uncle, Gary Feltner; and cousin, Jennifer (Schirg) Mills,
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2018, from 4-7 pm at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Prayers will be recited at 9:30 am Monday morning, May 21, 2018, at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Avenue, Sandusky. Fr. Jeff Walker officiating. At his request, following the services cremation will take place. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
