Merle A Krauzer, 72 of Sandusky passed away Sunday evening at his home. Merle was born in Bellefontaine, OH on January 1,1946 to Joseph and Amy Belle (Mohring) Krauzer. He served in the Army National Guard for 6 years. Ultimately retiring as a Police Officer and owner operator of Statewide Security Patrol, serving Sandusky and Port Clinton areas. Merle occupied his retirement days taking adventures on his Harley. He loved his family and quality time stopping by their homes just to share a cup of coffee and a smile.
Merle is survived by his sons Merle Krauzer Jr. of Conroe Tx, Thomas Krauzer with whom he resided. Daughters, Charlotte (Jerry) Notman of Holland, Christie Krauzer of Huron, and Amy (Jim) Arquette of Sandusky. His grandchildren Alex (Koryn) Wilken, Tyler, Jared, Kaitlyn, and Aidan Arquette, Tommy, Kyle, and Kaiden Krauzer, Joseph Metzler, Nicole Vanhoy, Jessica, Lisa, and Randy Morrison, Cory and Denten Notman, Charlie and Christina Krauzer, Ashley and Heather Johnston. Also surviving are his 23 wonderful Great Grandchildren, his sister Sharon Cunningham, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his parents, his beloved grandmother Clarabelle Young, his brother Joseph Krauzer and his close friend and Uncle, Bruce Young.
