Marie Kathryn (Camp) Leser

 Marie Kathryn Leser, 96, of Sandusky, passed away Friday, June 21, 2019, in Stein Hospice, after a brief illness.
   She was born July 22, 1922, in Huron Township Ohio, the daughter of Herman Joseph Camp and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Wagner Camp. She was a 1940 graduate of Huron High School.
   Her life was dedicated to her family. Marie also enjoyed working at popular area restaurants, Stone House, Twine House and Hickory Steakhouse. She worked several years as evening secretary at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, where she was a parishioner, also belonging to the church’s Altar Rosary Society.
Marie was a competitive card player and had belonged to various golf and bowling leagues. She also enjoyed traveling, word puzzles, watching sports, but most of all she loved spending time with her loving family.
   She is survived by her daughters, Marcia (Don) Hupp and Judy Leser, both of Sandusky; Grandchildren, Amylee Marie (Keith) Myers and Joe (Bobbie) Hupp;Great Grandchildren, DJ, Drake, Bryce and Alyssa; nieces, nephews and many friends.
   Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Frances Grenier and brother, Vincent Camp.
   Visitation will be held Wednesday morning, June 26, 2019 from 9 am until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Entombment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
   In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 510 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870 or Stein Hospice, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
