Kurt Alan Fischer

 Kurt A Fischer, 50, of Sandusky, OH died suddenly in a single car accident early Saturday morning on December 2, 2017. 
   Born on June 25, 1967, in Port Clinton, OH the son of Charles and Margaret "Peggie" (Augustine) Fischer.  He had attended Sandusky High School.  Kurt was a big hearted guy who loved animals, loved his family and friends, riding his motorcycle and being on the lake. He was a gifted craftsman and was proud to showcase his abilities by restoring and repurposing old materials into new things. He loved playing guitar and jamming with his buddies. He spent many happy times at The Spot, a place he was able to show his love by feeding good food to good people. He will be sadly missed by everyone he left behind but will be joyfully met in heaven by everyone who went before him.
   Kurt is survived by his wife, Tonya "Teri" (Alford, nee Ensign) Fischer; his family, Nicholas and Samantha Ensign; a grandson, Kayden Herold; his parents, Charles and Peggie Fischer; a sister, Heidi (Brandon) Blair; and a nephew, Sydney "Sid" Blair.
   He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeana Herold; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and his God parents. 
   At the request of the family, cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held for Kurt on Saturday afternoon, December 9, 2017, at 4 pm at Grace Episcopal Church, 315 Wayne Street, Sandusky.  Rev. Jan Smith Wood officiating.  Inurnment will be held in the Grace Episcopal Church Columbarium.
   The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the family.
   Arrangements are entrusted to the David F. Koch Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.
