Joyce Helen (Trautman) Moore

Joyce H. Moore, 92, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully late Sunday morning, May 5, 2019, at Parkvue Health Care Center, Sandusky.
  Born on December 24, 1926, in Sandusky, OH the daughter of Frank W. and Carmelita E. (Gerold) Trautman,  Joyce was a 1945 graduate of St. Mary's High School.  In her earlier days, she had worked at the Western Security Bank in bookkeeping and then at Periodical Publishers for over 20 years before going on to work in the office at Memorial Hospital in the Outpatient Department for nearly 20 years, before retiring..  Joyce enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren, but she loved to travel, especially taking day trips to Amish Country.
   She was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church; a former member of the Daughters of Isabella Trinity Circle # 385 and the Church Women United.
   Joyce is survived by two sons; Mark (Denise) Moore of Marblehead and Steve (Barbara) Moore of Sandusky; four grandchildren, Christopher Moore of Columbus, Mary Beth Moore of Port Clinton, Daniel Moore of Castalia and David Moore of Bowling Green; a sister, Sandra Billetter-Zuber of Sandusky; and a brother, Frank "Corky" (Nancy) Trautman of Sandusky; nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; a son in infancy, Christopher Moore; a grandson in infancy, John Moore; and a sister; Patricia A. Keller.
   Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019, from 4-7 pm at the  David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.  Prayers will be recited Friday morning, May 10, 2019, at 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Avenue, Sandusky. Fr. Matt Frisbee officiating.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
   The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to one's favorite charity.
