Joyce Lee (Bowsher) Lee

 Joyce Lee (Bowsher) Lee, 78, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly late Monday morning, August 6, 2019, at her home.
   Born on March 31, 1941, in Lima, OH the daughter of Wilbur Charles and Rosemary Ida (Weible) Bowsher.  She was a 1959 graduate of Sandusky High School.
   Joyce was an active member of the Calvary Baptist Church where she was an avid baker and enjoyed her time of fellowship with the "Prime Timers.'  She also enjoyed spending her time with the ladies at Muirwood Village during the "Coffee Clutch."  Over the years, Joyce enjoyed cross-stitching and volunteering her time in the Sandusky Public Local Schools and at the Ohio Veterans Home.
   Joyce is survived by 2 daughters, Michelle (Robert) Troxell of Delaware and Melissa (Sean) Pearson of Westerville; 4 grandchildren, Jacob (Kaitlyn) Fritz of Puyallup, WA, Joshua Fritz of Delaware, Bailey Pearson and Kiley Pearson both of Westerville; and 2 sisters, Carolyn (Joe) Cheek of Sandusky and Ella "Ellie" (Robert) Lane of Butler, Pennsylvania.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 52 years, David B. Lee (October 19, 2017).
   Visitation will be held on Monday morning, August 12, 2019, from 9 am until time of the funeral services, at 11 am at the Calvary Baptist Church, 1810 E. Perkins Avenue, Sandusky.  Rev. David L. Hixson, Rev. Robert A. Fowler and Rev. Nathan L. Klier officiating.  Burial will be in the Green Springs Cemetery, in Green Springs, OH.
   The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Calvary Baptist Church, 1810 E. Perkins Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870.
