Uncle John and Aunt Marlene were ALWAYS special to me,they were my godparents and since they had all boys, I,being a girl was spoiled by them! I love them both very much and they will forever be in my heart! God bless you Uncle John I will truly miss you! Love,Kathy

for the short time i knew him what a guy telling me how much he loved his wife how he missed her talked about his boys the war stories and visits to the hospital and the respect he showed people i know you will miss him thank for sharing him with me i have taken some knowledge from this friendship god bless the walters family i will keep you in my prayers

I was so saddened of the news of the passing of John. He was my neighbor on Venice Road since 1963 until they moved. I will never forget his smile and all the memories we had as children with John, Jeff, Jimmy (RIP) and Jody. I will miss John at the SHS basketball games where he always had a smile and something to say! And him always calling my son, HAMBONE, because Timmy always had a smile for John. May the family keep all his memories alive in their hearts and know he will be missed by all that knew him. RIP John as you are reunited with your true love Marlene. We love you and will miss you!
