John A. Milhouse, 81, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully late Tuesday morning, July 31, 2018, surrounded by his family at The Cleveland Clinic, in Cleveland, OH.
Born on September 26, 1936, in Portsmouth, OH the son of Henry and Virginia (Giesler) Milhouse. He was a 1959 graduate of Ohio State University. John had worked as a stockbroker for 41 years, he was with Capitol Securities and for the last 12 years he was with the Ohio Company, retiring in 2001.
He was a member of St. Stephen United Church of Christ and a member of the Masonic Science Lodge #50.
John is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nancy J. (Hike) Milhouse of Sandusky; his children, Susan (Greg) Berning of Columbus, David (Lynn) Milhouse of Perrysburg and Karen (Jim) Lochbihler of Avon; seven grandchildren, Adam and Ryan Milhouse, Lauren Milhouse, Sara and Brooke Berning, Henry and Matthew Lochbihler.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2018, from 4-7 pm at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Funeral services will be held Monday morning, August 6, 2018, at 10 am at St. Stephen United Church of Christ, 905 E. Perkins Avenue, Sandusky. Rev. Jerald A. Fenske officiating. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, in Huron, OH.
