James I. "Jim" Buddenhagen, 80, of Sandusky, passed away early Wednesday morning, February 7, 2018, in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, after a brief illness.
Born on November 10, 1937, in Sandusky, the son of Irvin John and Olive Marie (Smith) Buddenhagen. He was a 1956 graduate of St. Mary's Catholic High School and a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
Jim is survived by nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Janet A. Buddenhagen and Ardis J. Super.
It was his wish to be cremated. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Jim on Thursday morning, February 15, 2018, at 10 am at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870.
