Hethlyn Glovinsky Obituary
Hethlyn A. (Best) Glovinsky, 89, of Sandusky, passed away early Friday morning, November 15, 2019, in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, after a brief illness.
Born on March 15, 1930, in Sandusky, OH the daughter of Albert and Alberta (Stevens) Best. For 20 years she had worked at the Hill's Department Store, before retiring. In years past, she had been involved with the Red Hat Society and she enjoyed the thrill of gambling.
She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church.
Hethlyn is survived by 2 sons, Brian (Andrea) Glovinsky of Castalia and Durand (Jacquelyn) Glovinsky of Sarasota, FL; her 3 grandchildren, Matthew and Christine Glovinsky and Lauren (Danny) Stein; and her brother, Jack (Patricia) Best of Bellevue; and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 53 years, Joseph J. "Joe" Glovinsky on February 28, 2006; her daughter, Joanne; three sisters, Wilma Miller, Annabelle Macina and Florence Ferback; and a brother, Warren Best.
Visitation will be held Monday morning, November 18, 2019, from 8:30 am until time of prayers at 9:30 am at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 428 Tiffin Avenue, Sandusky, Fr. Chris Jesuhason officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Holy Angels Catholic Church, 428 Tiffin Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
