Grace Marie (Barone) Brammer

Grace M. "Gracie" Brammer, 80, of Sandusky, passed away Sunday morning, November 18, 2018, in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, after an extended illness.
   Born on August 15, 1938, in Sandusky, OH the daughter of the late John Carmen and Angela Marie (Rudo) Barone.  She was a 1956 graduate of Sandusky High School and had attended the Lorain Community College, the Firelands Campus of Bowling Green State University and Lourdes College in Sylvania.  Gracie was the former owner of Barone's Restaurant and was co-owner of Guess Who Greetings, Inc..
   She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the Altar Rosary Society, the Italian-American Beneficial Club Ladies Auxiliary, the American Legion Post # 83 Ladies Auxiliary, the Sandusky Ladies Investment Club and the Greeting Card Association.
   Gracie is survived by two sons, Matthew J. (Cheryl) Brammer of Cleveland and Thomas K. (Rebecca) Brammer of Oregon, OH; a daughter, Teresa M. Brammer of Sandusky; three granddaughters, Emily, Julie and Molly; two grandsons, Gary and John;  and two sisters, her twin, Carol (Richard) Smith of Sandusky and Donna Kelley of Huron; and nieces and nephews.
   Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Gary T. Brammer (1995); her son, Stephen S. Brammer (2005); a brother, Joseph Barone; and a sister in infancy, Sharon Barone.
   Visitation will be held for Gracie on Friday, November 23, 2018, from 4-7 pm at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for her on Saturday morning, November 24, 2018, at 10 am at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.  Fr. Marty Nassr officiating.  Entombment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Sandusky.
