Glesna Ann (Williams) Carico

Glesna A. (Williams) Carico, 69, of Lakeside, OH passed peacefully  away early Friday morning, September 28, 2018, surrounded by her family in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
   Born on February 7, 1949, in  Findlay, OH the daughter of  Walter Ray and Ruth Margarite (Leader) Williams.  She was a 1967 graduate of Findlay High School.  Glesna had owned and operated for over 20 years with her husband , Ken, Anchors Inn, in Oak Harbor, OH, before retiring.  Prior to that she had worked at Aims Packaging, in Port Clinton, OH for a few years.
   She was a member along with her late husband in the Port Clinton Moose Lodge #1610, Port Clinton Eagles Lodge aerie #2295 and the Sandusky Orioles Club.   Glesna will be remembered by her family as being very crafty, loving to work on all types of crafts and reading, puzzles, gardening, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchilden and great-grandchildren. 
   She is survived by two daughters,  Susan L. Brough and Marnie F. (Joe) Zippay, both of Sandusky; a son, Kristopher J. (Kim) Carico of Marblehead; seven grandchildren, Brittany (Chris) Brough-Ruth, Dustin (Katie) Brough, Kaylah Carico, Savannah Carico, Andrea Carico, Sariah Carico and Lorin (Contessa) Zippay;  six great-grandchildren, Caleb Ruth, Alexis Ruth, Walter Brough, Kennedy Zippay, Chezney Zippay and Coupe Zippay; three brothers, Glenn (Lil) Williams, of Maine, her twin, who shown a selfless act of love by donating s kidney to help his sister, and David (Witt Gibson) Williams and Walter Williams, both of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 42 years, Kenneth H. "Ken" Carico on July 20, 2017; and a sister-in-law, Pat Williams.
   Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, from 2-7 pm at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning, October 3, 2018, at 11 am at the funeral home.  Rev. Wayne Meade officiating.  Burial will be in Sackett Cemetery, Danbury Township, OH.
