Gary Russell Crouch

Gary R. Crouch, 74, of Lorain, passed away peacefully late Sunday afternoon, December 17, 2017, at the Ames Family Hospice House, in Westlake, OH after an illness.
   Born on September 6, 1943, in Charleroi, Pennsylvania, the son of Freeman B. and Florence A. (Wolfe) Crouch.  Gary had worked as a Chemical Operator at the B.F. Goodrich Chemical Plant for 35 years, before retiring.  He loved fishing and camping, he'll be remembered by his family as being a true outdoors man.
   He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda J. (Glott) Crouch; two daughters, Pam J. (Stephanie Hoppe) Wolfe of Sandusky and Tracy L. (Mike) Davis of N. Olmsted; three grandchildren, Heather and Ashley Anders and Joshua Wolfe; a  great-grandson, Grayson See; a brother, Dennis (Barb) Crouch of Fayette City, PA; and nieces and nephews.
   Gary was preceded in death by his parents; and six brothers and sisters.
   Visitation will be held Friday morning, December 22, 2017, from 9:30 am until time of the funeral services at 11 am  at the David F. Koch Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.  Rev. Wally Gilbert officiating.  Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, in Avon, OH.
   The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his memory to the Cleveland Clinic Cancer Society of Sandusky, 417 Quarry Lakes Drive, Sandusky, OH 44870, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to the Ames Family Hospice House, 30080 Hospice Way, Westlake, OH,  44145.
