G. Nancy (Williams) Roehrs Weeks

Gladys) Nancy Roehrs Weeks, 89, of Sandusky, passed away on March 30, 2019 at the Meadows Nursing Home in Huron, Ohio after a brief illness. Nancy was born to the late Anna (Homolka) Williams and Basil Whitney Williams on January 08, 1930, in Toledo, Ohio. Nancy graduated from DeVilbiss High School in Toledo, Ohio, in 1948. After her marriage to Earnest (Earnie) E. Roehrs, also of Toledo, they moved to Sandusky. Nancy retired from New Departure Hyatt after 28 years and then worked part-time as a secretary at Erie County Job and Family Services. In 1981, she married Arthur F. Weeks from Cleveland, Ohio.
Nancy was preceded in death by her daughter, Claudia A. Roehrs in 1973, her first husband, Earnie, in 1975, and her second husband, Arthur, in 2007. She is survived by her daughter Deborah S. Roehrs (Roger) Gundlach, grandson Andrew M. (Melissa) Gundlach, both of Sandusky and granddaughter Katherine M. Gundlach of Westlake, Ohio, one sister-in-law, Mary Roehrs Zaye, and several nieces and nephews.
Nancy was a member of the Sandusky Lions Club Ladies Auxiliary, the Sandusky Elks Club Ladies Auxiliary, the Sandusky Yacht Club and Ladies Auxiliary, and was a volunteer at Stein Hospice, Firelands Regional Medical Center, Stein Hospice, Serving Our Seniors, and the Sandusky State Theatre. Nancy enjoyed boating, entertaining and was an accomplished ink and water color artist, although she never shared her talent with anyone other than her family. She also enjoyed making artificial flower arrangements and donating them to patients at Stein Hospice, Firelands Regional Medical Center, Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sandusky, and her friends.
Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 503 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, OH 44870 followed by a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. Rev. Eric L. Bodenstab officiating.  Burial will take place at Meadow Green Memorial Park Cemetery in Huron, Ohio following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 503 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, Ohio 44870 or to Stein Hospice Services, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.  Arrangements entrusted to David F.
