Emma L. (Carman) Seitz, 70, of Sandusky, passed away early Thursday morning, August 29, 2019, at the Cleveland Clinic - South Pointe Hospital, in Warrensville Heights, OH, after a lengthy illness.
Born on January 4, 1949, in Fostoria, OH the daughter of William Earl and Hazel Irene (Kimble) Carman. She had attended the Fostoria Local Public Schools. Emma had worked for Tenneco, in Milan, OH for 25 years, before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with her family and the grandchildren.
Emma is survived by her daughter, Rhonda of Sandusky; four sons, Lee Jr., Bryant and Jeremy, all of Sandusky, and Eric (Nancee) Seitz of Norwalk; 18 grandchildren, Virginia, Michael, Cory, Eric Ray, Robbie, Cillian, Eric, Jr., Joe, Christopher, Wendy (Aaron), Zachary (Ashley), Matt (Paula), Briana, Ashley, Zoie, Brandilynn (Lamar) Goolsby, Brandon and Ryan; 15 great-grandchildren, Harmony, Jeremiah, Nevaeh, Dillan, Kaya, Kaden, Tyler, Sawyer, Jaxon, James, Bailee, Allee, Brandon, Lamar Jr., and Autumn; a brother, Bert Carman of Fostoria; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 34 years, Lee E. Seitz, Sr. (2001); a great-grandson, Brayden; a sister, Nancy Marker; a brother, Butch Carman; a niece, Violet Marker; and a nephew, Danny Joe Marker.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, from 4-7 pm at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning, September 4, 2019, at 11 am at the funeral home. Rev. Wally Gilbert officiating. It was Emma's wishes to be cremated following the services
