She was employed at Perkins Schools and various part-time jobs, retiring from the offices of Stein Hospice.
She loved going on cruises and vacations with her sisters, Gail and Norma and her niece, Sandi. She and Bill also managed at least one vacation every year and when her sons were younger always took at least one vacation a year with the family.
After retirement, Bill and Bert moved to Florida for 15 years, but Sandusky was always home to Bert and they moved back in 2012.
She shared many long lunches with her longtime friends, Nancy, Mitzi and Sherley, and enjoyed playing cards and an occasional afternoon at the casino.

Per Bert's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or services. Private family service will be held at a later date.
