Dawn Marie (Greulich) Ferback

Dawn M. (Greulich) Ferback, 59, of Sandusky,  passed away peacefully late Sunday afternoon, October 6, 2019, with family at her side at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky, after a brief illness.
   Born on April 20, 1960, in Sandusky, OH the daughter of Donald D. and Jeanne Claire (Herzog) Greulich.  Dawn was a 1979 graduate of St. Mary's Catholic High School.  She had worked for several years at Food Town at the customer service counter.  Dawn will be remembered by her family for how she loved them and the grandchildren and all Holiday seasons, especially Christmas, and with the holiday brought activities, decorating and watching a wide variety of movies (Hallmark) and shows.  She also enjoyed cooking and taking time to read.  Dawn loved her two dogs, "Spike" and "Princess" and was lovingly known as "Grandma Spike" to the grandkids.
   She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Ed Ferback, whom she married on March 6, 1981; her two sons, Eddie (Jennifer) Ferback II of Sandusky and Dan (Nikki Wilson) Ferback of Bellevue; eight grandchildren; her father and mother, Donald D. and Donna Greulich of Sandusky; two sisters, DeAnna L. (Greulich) Bohlander of Sandusky and Heidi (Greulich) Materni of Oregon, OH; a nephew and two nieces.
   Dawn was preceded in death by her maternal mother, Jeanne C. Greulich; and a grandson.
   It was Dawn's wish to be cremated.  The family will receive friends on Thursday morning, October 10, 2019, from 10 am until time of the memorial service at 11 am at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.   Deacon Carol Steinfeldt of Zion Lutheran Church officiating.
