David John Galati

  David J. Galati, 49, of Sandusky, passed away early Monday morning, June 17, 2013, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky, after a brief illness.
  Born on November 13, 1963, in Sandusky, the son of John Francis and Susan Phyllis (Schneider) Galati.  He was a 1982 graduate of St. Mary's High School.  David had been employed for many years for ChemLawn and Bay Area Lawn Care.
  He is survived by his mother, Susan P. "Sue" Galati of Sandusky; a daughter, Angelina Galati of Norwalk; a sister, Deborah S. (Paul) Leslie of Huron; two brothers, John H. "Jack" (Deborah) Galati of Sandusky and Anthony J. "Tony" (Laura) Galati of Toledo; several nieces and nephews; and a great-niece and great-nephew; special friend, Peggy LeGay of Sandusky.
  David was preceded in death by his father, John F. Galati (1992).
  At his request no visitation will be held and cremation has taken place.  A private memorial service will be held later by the family.  Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Marblehead, OH.
