Aneta Pearl (Brookins) Lippus

Aneta P. (Brookins) Lippus, 92, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, July 16, 2019, at the Gaymont Nursing Home, in Norwalk, OH.
   Born on March 31, 1927, in Jacksonville,, OH the daughter of Thomas Alden and Ethel Margaret (Goodin) Brookins.  Aneta was a talented seamstress and had worked for Caryl Crane and Joseph's Department Store during the 1950's and 60's.  She later had worked for many proud years as a nurses aide at Memorial Hospital in Sandusky. She will be missed so much by her family and friends.
   She is lovingly remembered by her loved ones, including her surviving three daughters, Lynn (Gabelman) Eakin, Aleta L. (Gabelman) Stauder and A. Michelle (Dyer) Wilhelm; five grandchildren, Jennifer Eakin, Jason Eakin, Robert Stauder, Mary (McEowen) Zapata and Leanne (Wilhelm) James; five step-grandchildren, Lonnie, Don, Neila, Gary Lippus and Laurie J. Weyer; 11 great-grandchildren, Derek Seitz, Joey Eakin, Brianna (McEowen) Bernardo, Ruben E. Beltran, Tristan and Melina Zapata, Cassitee, Abigail and Maggie James, Isaac and Seth Stauder; and her brother, Lee Brookins; nieces and nephews.
   Aneta was preceded in death by her parents; a beloved grandson, Brian Stauder; two sisters, Nancy Sherrard and Mary Steiner; two brothers, Robert A. and Thomas A. Brookins; and three half-brothers, Raymond, Cyrus and Charles Brookins.
   It was Aneta's wishes to be cremated.  A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday morning, July 20, 2019, at 10 am at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 428 Tiffin Avenue, Sandusky.  Fr. Chris Jesudhason officiating.  Inurnment will be held at a later date in the Calvary Cemetery Columbarium, Sandusky.
