Zachary "Zack" Patrick Quinn

Zachary P. "Zack" Quinn, 23, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Thursday afternoon, May 4, 2017, at Firelands Regional Medical Center Main Campus, Sandusky.,
   Born on September 23, 1993, in Sandusky, the son of Patrick Joseph and Evelyn (Lebron) Quinn.  Zack was a 2012 graduate of Perkins High School.  A most productive employee, he had been working at FedEx Freight, in Huron, OH., for the past couple of years.  He enjoyed playing his video games and  loved animals,  especially reptiles and dinosaurs.  Zachary loved working on computers and rap music.  He also was on the swim and tennis teams at PHS. Zack was wonderful with children, he was known as the “fun cousin” and younger family members would flock to him during family gatherings. In his twenty-three years, Zachary touched the hearts of many. His compassion for others is what his family and friends will always remember about him, and he in turn especially loved his family.
   He is survived by his parents, Patrick and Evelyn Quinn; his sister, Katie Quinn of Sandusky; his maternal grandmother, Candida Lebron of Puerto Rico;  his paternal grandparents, Earl and Carole Ray of Brookpark, OH; Special grandparents: John and Katie Lohser; Marian (Cheri Morabito) Lebron, Mary Lou Lebron (Godmother), Juanita (Jim) Oswald, Catherine (Bob) Rupp, Maureen (Bill) Steffen, Sharon-deceased (Terry) Hassing, Mary (Harry) Sulzer, Bill (Lisa) Ray,
Tim (Phaedra) Ray, Susan (Richard) Vecchio, Dan (Elaine) Ray, Debby Hansen, Ralph (Mari) Hanvey, David (Jim Lorenczi) Dare, Kristen Peterka (Godmother); Oldest and dearest friend: Rachel (Mulvin) Lublow; and aunts, uncles, other relatives and countless cousins and friends.
   Zack was preceded in death by his brother, Nicholas J. Quinn (1991); paternal grandparents, Patrick and Therese Quinn; and his maternal grandfather, Juan "Papi" Lebron.
   Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, from 3-7 pm in the Gathering Space at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.  Prayers will be recited Wednesday morning, May 10, 2017, at 9:40 am in the Gathering Space followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.  Fr. Matt Frisbee officiating.  Burial will be held later in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Cleveland, OH.
   The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Sandusky Artisans Recovery Community Center, 138 E. Market Street, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to the Starfish Project, Inc., P.O. Box 272, Norwalk, OH 44857.
