Raemalee Reed (Browand) McKinnon

Raemalee R. "Rae" (Browand) McKinnon, 53, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully late Monday morning, April 3, 2017,  at the Concord Care Center of Sandusky, following a 2 year battle with cancer.
   Born on  August 3, 1963, in Sandusky, the daughter of Merle E. and Patricia Adele (Tromblee) Browand.  Rae lived most of her life in Norwalk, Ohio.    She was a former employee of Wendy's in Norwalk.  Rae was a marvelous cook and baker.  She was also an avid reader.  Rae made friends easily and had many of them.
   She is survived by her beloved daughter, Jada Rose Browand, who was the love of her life; her mother, Patricia Duck; three sisters, Rachelle Lessick, Renee Rarden and Marsha Szabo; two brothers, Tim and Greg Browand; three nephews, James Rarden, Nathan Livengood and Phil Amolsch; two nieces, Raquel Dunfee and Cameron (Chris) Thomas; and many other nieces and nephews.
   Rae was preceded in death by her father, Merle Browand; two sons in infancy, Joseph and Jordan; a sister in infancy, Mary Catherine; a brother, Ricky Rarden; a nephew, Keegan Rarden; and a sister-in-law, Janine Rarden.
   At Rae's request, cremation has taken place.  The family will receive friends on Friday morning, April 7, 2017, from 11 am until time of the memorial services at 1 pm at Father's Heart Family Church, 1814 Milan Road, Sandusky.  Pastor Tony Robinson officiating.
